1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They are used to make a site work, to keep it secure, and to understand how it is used. Similar technologies — local storage, and pixels in emails — do the same kinds of job, and where this policy says “cookies” it means those too.

Every cookie listed on this page is set by Morpe itself. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what we collect here with advertising networks.

2. The choice you have

Strictly necessary cookies are set because the site cannot work without them, so there is no choice to make about those. Everything else is off until you say otherwise.

The first time you visit, a banner asks what you want. You can allow everything, refuse everything optional, or pick group by group — all three are one action away from each other, and refusing is no harder than accepting. If you close the banner without choosing, nothing optional is set and you will be asked again.

We record your answer for 6 months, after which we ask again. We also ask again if we add a new group, because agreeing to one set of purposes is not agreeing to a larger one.

Keeps you signed in, keeps forms and checkout working, and protects against fraud and cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Aggregate counts of which pages are read and where visits arrive from, so we can tell what is worth writing more of. Never used to build a profile of you.

    Distinguishes one visit from the next so a page view is not counted twice. Holds a random value, not an identity.

Preferences

Optional — off unless you allow it

Remembers choices you have made — display currency, language, and whether you dismissed a notice — so the site does not forget them between visits.

4. Changing your mind

You can change your answer whenever you like, and a refusal takes effect immediately — we do not treat an earlier “yes” as standing once you have said no.

The same link sits in the footer of every page on this site, including when you are signed in to the portal.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Your browser can block or delete cookies independently of the choice you make here, and its settings override ours. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in and will break checkout; that is what “strictly necessary” means rather than a warning against trying it.

Because our record of your choice is itself a cookie, clearing your cookies also clears that record — the banner will ask again on your next visit.
